Information Collection

The Vale Spiritual Healing & Meditation Center (the "Vale") is the sole owner of the information collected on www.kotvale.org , which is operated on behalf of the Vale by CX3. All references to "we," "our," and "us" in this Privacy Statement include CX3 and the Vale. We collect information from our users at several different points on our site.

Product and Service Orders

We request information from the user when a user orders products or services from our site. A user must provide contact information (such as name, email, and shipping address) and financial information (such as credit card number, expiration date) in order to purchase products or services from our site and must furnish contact information to apply for services, such as Quantum Reflections ("QR"), telephonic readings or putting someone's name in the healing basket. This information is used only for billing purposes, to fill customer's orders, to respond to requests for services and to provide free services, such as the healing basket. If we have trouble processing an order, the information is used to contact the user. Note that some purchase orders may link the user to an affiliated site (such as Paypal.com for certain payment transactions). This Privacy Statement does not control the use of any information that you may supply to Paypal or other affiliated sites. Please refer to the privacy statements of those sites to determine how they will use your information.

Cookies

We use cookies to recognize whether you have visited out site before. A cookie is a piece of data stored on the user's computer tied to information about the user. Some of our business partners, such as Paypal may also use cookies. However, we have no access to or control over these cookies, and this Privacy Statement does not cover those cookies.

Log Files

Like most standard website servers we use log files. This includes internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, internet service provider (ISP), referring/exit pages, platform type, date/time stamp, and number of clicks. We do not currently run reports to analyze this data, but we reserve the right to do so in the future to analyze trends, administer the site, track user's movement in the aggregate, and gather broad demographic information for aggregate use. Neither IP addresses nor other information collected in the log files are linked to personally identifiable information.

Communications from the Site

Response to Customer Requests

In general, the only communications that users will receive from our site will be in response to specific orders of products or services or specific email inquiries. 

Service Announcements

On rare occasions it may be necessary to send out a strictly service related announcement. For instance, if our service is temporarily suspended for maintenance we might send an email to users who have provided us with their email addresses. Generally, users may not opt-out of these communications.

Communications To the Site

Users have various opportunities to send mail and email communications to the site, other than for online orders. For example, users may send emails to request an appointment for a telephonic reading or Quantum Reflections ("QR") session and may send a mail request for an QR session or may provide general feedback to us via email. All information provided in any such communications that is clearly intended by the user to be private and all personal information revealed in the course of readings is confidential between us and the user and will be disclosed to third parties only as required by law. Notwithstanding the foregoing, any information which is included in communications directed to an advice column or any other public forum that we may establish at the site may be published on the website or elsewhere. Our responses to such communications may also be so published.

Legal Disclaimer

Though we make every effort to preserve user privacy, we may need to disclose personal information when required by law or when we have a good-faith belief that such action is necessary to comply with a current judicial proceeding, a court order or legal process served on our Web site.

Third Party Intermediaries

We use PayPal for collecting and tracking payments. As noted above, this Privacy Statment does not cover information furnished by users to PayPal.

Business Transitions

In the event our site goes through a business transition, such as a merger, being acquired by another company, or selling a portion of its assets, users' personal information will, in most instances, be part of the assets transferred. Users will be notified via notice on our site prior to a change of ownership or control of their personal information. If as a result of the business transition, the users' personally identifiable information will be used in a manner different from that stated at the time of collection they will be given choice consistent with our notification of changes section.

Links

From time to time our website may include links to other sites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of such other sites. We encourage our users to be aware when they leave our site and to read the privacy statements of each and every site that collects personally identifiable information. This Privacy Statement applies solely to information collected by this site.

Notification of Changes

If we decide to change our privacy policy, we will post those changes to this Privacy Statement, and other places we deem appropriate so our users are always aware of what information we collect, how we use it, and under what circumstances, if any, we disclose it. We will use information in accordance with the privacy policy under which the information was collected.

If, however, we are going to use users' personally identifiable information in a manner different from that stated at the time of collection we will notify users via email. Users will have a choice as to whether or not we use their information in this different manner. In addition, if we make any material changes in our privacy practices that do not affect user information already stored in our database, we will post a prominent notice on our site notifying users of the change. In some cases where we post a notice we will also email users, notifying them of the changes in our privacy practices.
