Continuing an earlier post, the movie The Secret talks about putting your desires (goals) out into the universe.  This is a good idea.  Goals/desires give you drive, dedication and determination and can often lead to success.  Rather than keeping your goals a secret, write them down so that you can look at them from time to time.  The subconscious mind is a powerful tool — just seeing your goals in print can help you to visualize the completion and help them to become a reality.

The following is a good affirmation to use to help in gaining confidence:

I am perfect, whole and complete.  I love and approve of myself, just as I am.  I am free to be me.

I am a worthwhile person.  I deserve all the good I receive.

 

In addition to the positive approaches we have mentioned briefly before, there are also phrases you cna repeat at any time to help turn a negative emotion or feeling into a positive one.  This is done by using affirmations. One of my favorites (which we learned from Kenny Kingston, Celebrity Psychic)is:

No negative vibrations shall enter today or ever.   

Use the affirmations whenever you would like and remember that the key is to truly believe the words you are saying.  Repeat them three times.  There is a very old computer saying about programming which is: any command you wish to permanently encode, you repeat three times.  Robert Heinlein in his books always referred to what is said three times is true. 

In reading “Making Your Goals a Reality” by Kenny Kingston, I found this wonderful meditation for a Sunday:

I pray, I believe.  I give thanks for the abundance of my blessings and believe I will receive even more.  I continue to rest and relax, but also make plans for a new week.  If have a chance to begin again.  I will aim high, but make my goals realistic. 

This helps to remind us that we need to recharge our batteries and plan.  Make your goals high but be realistic.  This is in line with things we have been discussing (or will be discussing) recently from the movie THE SECRET.  Those things that you think of you draw to you.  Think of wonderful goals and draw all good things to you.  The Law of Attraction is in full force and effect.

Goals and ambitions are wonderful.  THey give us a reason for living, a reason for getting up in the morning.  We always tell people AIM HIGH.  Dare to dream of the best possible scenario, the best possible life you can imagine for yourself, then reward yourself every step of the way.  If your dream is to become a bank president, it might not happen immediately, but if you are hired by a bank in some capacity, congratulate yourself on taking the first step to achieving your goal. 

Be the best that you can be at whatever you are doing at the moment.  You have started down the highway to success.  Bring passion to whatever you do and you will do it with passion. 

Another Irish blessing:

Everyone is talking about the inspirational movie The Secret.  Have you seen it yet?  I highly recommend it for anyone who wants to make positive changes to their lives.  The Secret has actually been well known and discussed for many years, it is just now that people are starting to pay attention and take to the popular format of movies to bring it to your attention.

This is very appropos for discussing The Secret.  What you think about all the time is what you draw to you.  If you think about wonderful things, you will have wonderful things.

Now that an intensive 6 days of online classes has finished perhaps we can be more regular with this blog page.  Today is St. Patrick’s Day and we wish to extend to everyone an Irish blessing:

May the road rise to meet you,

May the wind be always at your back,

May the sun shine warm upon your face

And the rains fall soft upon your fields. 

 

A psychic is someone who offers guidance and advice about one’s past, present and future.  Psychics are NOT to be confused with magicians and they are not reading your mind.  To give a psychic reading they may use many tools, such as cards, crystal balls, psychometry (touching an object which has been close to a person and picking up psychic messages from it) or clairaudio (listening to the sound of a voice and receiving psychic vibrations from it).  Not all psychics are, by any means, mediums. 

Medium refers someone who receives information from the spirit world.  Mediums communicate with spirits of your loved ones, who give them information and guidance to help you.  The true purpose and ultimate goal of a mdeium is not just to make contact with a spirit (important though that is).  This is only the beginning.  The ultimate goal is for hte medium to make contact with the spirit and then interpret the message the spirit provides, which will give real, applicable advice to someone about his or her past, present or future.
